A season two decades in the making
The RAPID HONDA mission has always been simple: support young, talented riders and help them achieve their racing potential. For 2026, with our title sponsor Drivelife, that mission runs in two arenas at once.
The BSB paddock
Ash Barnes and Declan 'Deco' Connell will campaign Honda Fireblades in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship — one of the toughest proving grounds in world motorcycling, run within the British Superbike paddock.
The Mountain Course
And this is the big one: 2026 marks RAPID HONDA's debut on the roads. Jamie Coward joins the team to contest the Superbike race, both Superstock races and the Senior TT on the Fireblade, plus both Supersport races on a RAPID Honda CBR600 — and he'll line up alongside Ash and Deco at selected Superstock rounds too.
The TT has long been a passion for many in this team. Our Crew Chief — RAPID's head riding coach — has 66 TT starts around the Mountain Course. Competing there together has been an ambition for years, and to do it with a rider of Jamie's calibre makes the whole team more motivated than ever.
Why a training company goes racing
Because the paddock is our laboratory. Machine control at championship pace exposes exactly what works — and everything we learn on a race weekend feeds directly into BIKEMASTER, TRACKMASTER and every coached mile we deliver. When your coach's other job is running a race team, you feel it in the coaching.
